Annette & Matthew tied the knot on a blustery day in July this year at The East Sussex National Hotel & Spa near Uckfield. The weather did nothing to dampen spirits however and the day kicked off with Jason meeting Annette at the hotel for some bridal preparation shots. Annette was getting ready in the Bridal Suite at the hotel with her lovely Mum & Bridesmaids. Annette chose a beautiful champagne coloured bridal gown with soft draping and a sweetheart neck line for her special day. The dress had gorgeous diamonte detail scattered over the dress and gathering at the side of the waist. She carried a bouquet of ivory and pale pink roses, as did her Bridesmaids. Annette's Bridesmaids wore really pretty dusky pink cocktail length dresses with pale blue pashminas to keep the chill off!
Sam met Matthew before the ceremony for some shots of him and his Groomsmen. Matthew wore a dark Navy suit with an ivory tie and pale pink Rose button hole to match his Bride's bouquet.
The ceremony space was decorated with Navy tie backs on the chair and a table display of ivory and pale pink Roses. Soon it was time for the couple to say their vows and exchange rings and head back up the aisle surrounded by lots of very happy looking friends and family. The couple didn't take long to raise a glass to their happy day with Pimms and do some mingling with their guests. Before everyone sat to eat we took the couple out side (despite the weather! You wouldn't know it was raining hard from the photos. Thank goodness for the undercover porch outside the hotel!) for some private Bride & Groom photos. We then did some family group shots and a lovely confetti shot in the stunning Reception foyer at the hotel.
Annette & Matthew had done a fantastic job with choosing their decorations for their wedding breakfast room. They went for a classic white and navy colour scheme with some pale pink accents. The cake was something quite special as it was a giant cupcake surrounded by lots of smaller cupcakes! Looked very delicious!
In the evening there was lots of dancing going on and laughs in the photo booth! It was a brilliant day and we had great fun capturing lots of special moments for the couple.
We wish Annette & Matthew a lifetime of happiness together.
All the best
Jason
