It was great to photograph at The View Hotel in Eastbourne
in late May for George & Carl's wedding. The weather was brilliant showing
off Eastbourne Seafront in all its splendour and we certainly made the most of
the location for some great shots of the Groom before the ceremony and later we
took the guests over to the green areas just past the Wish Tower for the group
shots.
George & Carl decorated their ceremony space with very
subtle dusty pink tones and ivory. Flutterby Events who are based in East
Sussex decorated the room using pretty gathered chair backs that were something
new that we hadn't seen before. Confetti bombs were placed on the chairs for
showering the happy couple after the ceremony and ivory flowers were placed all
round the room.
George wore a stunning floor length ivory gown with gathers
to the fitted bodice and with a dramatic train of frills to the base of the
dress. Her Bridesmaids looked amazing in dusty pink floor length dresses and
her flower girl followed the theme with simple pink dresses and diamante wands.
Carl was looking brilliant with his Groomsmen all in spring
colours of light fawn and ivory. George & Carl carried the contemporary and
stylish theme throughout with their amazing cake with pretty pink flowers on it
and stunning table decorations of large martini glasses using ivory flowers and
a wishing well for cards from their guests.
After an amazing ceremony with the Bride & Groom
proudly saying their vows George & Carl enjoyed a glass of bubbly down in
the bar area of The View Hotel and then walked across to the Seafront for the
group shots and some private Bride & Groom shots on the beach.
After some great speeches with lots of laughs George &
Carl cut their cake and then danced into the evening with their friends and
family but not before the Groom had sought out where his lovely new Brides garter
was, which was in support of his love for Walsall Football Club!
It was great to be part of another lovey wedding and I wish
George & Carl all the very best for the future.
