Grace & Phil - Zion Chapel & Bannatynes Hotel & Spa, Battle

June 24, 2016

Grace & Phil enjoyed a rare break in the weather in June and had a gloriously sunny day to become Mr & Mrs. The couple and their family and friends gathered at Zion Chapel in Battle for a lovely ceremony and then went on to Bannatynes Hotel & Spa, near Battle.

Grace & Phil decorated the chapel with beautiful hues of blue flowers coordinating with the colour of their Bridesmaids dresses. The Bridesmaids wore floor length gowns with pretty cap sleeves and open lace backs. The Bride herself looked fairy tale like in a white princess dress with a stunning lace and diamante  bodice and a full skirt. The Flower Girl looked very cute in an ivory dress.

Phil looked great in a grey suit with pink Rose button hole and Super Man cuff links! His Groomsmen matched his suit and also had various super hero cufflinks. The little Page Boy wore a grey waistcoat and trousers - very sharp!

After an amazing ceremony with Grace & Phil proudly saying their vows they headed off to Bannatynes but not before stopping off at Battle Abbey for some stunning photos of just the two of them. They then arrived at Bannatynes to tea and biscuits and a fully loaded sweet table!

Grace & Phil decorated the outside area at Bannatynes with bunting and a photo booth along with having out door games. The Montgomerie Suite was very tastefully decorated with loads of stunning flowers and a table plan and table name place cards in blue and lace effect to mimic the Bride and Bridesmaids dresses. There were photos scattered around of the Parents and Grand Parents wedding days too, which was a fantastic touch! Grace & Phil's cake was amazing with blue and pink ombre effect icing - really unusual and something that we hadn't seen before.

After some great speeches with lots of laughs, Grace & Phil continued to enjoy the sunshine outside mingling with their guests and getting some photos in the photo booth.

It was great to part of another lovely wedding and I wish Grace & Phil all the very best for the future.
