Katie & Ryan - Crockstead Farm, Halland

March 31, 2018

We were really pleased to be photographing Katie & Ryan's wedding in late March this year. We were the photographers for her Sister's wedding back in 2016 and were really chuffed to be asked to capture Katie's wedding in photos as well.

Crockstead Farm is a great setting for a wedding particularly if you are going to go along the theme of a simple, country wedding - which was what Katie & Ryan did. They had lots of fresh floral displays in pinks and deep plums and simple decor in the ceremony & wedding breakfast room in the form of lots of gypsophila and white netting. There were plenty of additional personal touches too like photo booth props and sparklers for shots later in the evening.

Katie wore a simply stunning figure hugging ivory dress which was floor length with a plunging back and a high front. The dress had lace details and was honestly lovely. Katie's Maid of Honour & Sister wore a deep burgundy dress and looked blooming particularly as she was very pregnant (she still wore heels though!). Katie had a little flower girl in a pretty ivory dress as well.

Ryan & his Groomsmen looked brilliant and on trend in their grey wool suits with matching waistcoats and deep burgundy ties to match the Maid of Honours dress. They all wore Rose button holes as well. Ryan arrived very much in style driving a state of the art Tesla which was great to get some photos of.

The ceremony was lovely and very heart felt with a few laughs thrown in too! Once Katie & Ryan had time to mingle and greet their guests for a while after the ceremony,  we then took them away for a while to get some shots around the grounds at Crockstead. Crockstead have a few new touches to their grounds and garden this year, one of them being a cute love seat which creates some great photos opportunities!

As the day progressed onto group shots and then the wedding breakfast we spent our time going between organising the group shots and getting lots of natural photos of Katie's friends and family. The speeches kicked off after the meal and were great fun enabling us to get some lovely shots of guests laughing (often at the Bride & Grooms expense!).

Once the light began to fall we did some shots with the sparklers and ended the evening on the dance floor with the Bride & Groom capturing the first dance and everyone enjoying a good old boogie!

We had a brilliant day with Katie & Ryan and all their friends and family - shame there are no more siblings to get married now!

All the best

Jason
