Kirsty & Garath had a lovely day in early July to get married at Priory Court Hotel, Pevensey. The venue itself was one we hadn't photographed at before and we loved the unique, boutique appeal of the place with its original beam work inside the hotel and lovely, private country garden at the back for a marquee and with a BBQ area. Kirsty got ready at the hotel and I started the day by meeting her and her lovely Bridesmaids and very cute Flower girls for bridal prep shots.
Kirsty wore a beautiful vintage, floor length beaded gown with a drop back and mermaid train. She looked like a movie star from an old black and white film - just lovely! Her Bridesmaids wore classic navy blue dresses with bead work and her Flower girls reflected the vintage theme with beautiful ivory dresses with embroidery. All the girls had really unusual hair accessories too.
Garath arrived looking sharp as you like in his own classic cars (not one but three!). We got some fantastic shots of him and his Best Men arriving and then making the most of having a little photo session with the cars. Garath wore a blue slim fit suit with an ivory tie and a single ivory rose flower button hole.
The ceremony was very intimate with family and friends watching Kirsty & Garath seal the deal and walk happily back up the aisle to celebratory drinks out in the garden area. Kirsty & Garath decorated the venue with photos of their parents and Grand Parents on their wedding days in shabby chic photo frames. There was bright pink floral decorations to match the bridal bouquet and lots of gypsophila and fresh flowers in jam jars. Outside the garden and marquee were complimented with hand made bunting and large pom poms in shades of pink. The wedding breakfast room was decorated with more flowers and birdcage style centre pieces. The setting plan was also a wire bird cage design and looked brilliant.
The day went really well with a fantastic time had by all. Soon it was time to cut the A-Mazing cake which was a huge creation of classic cars and a finishing line with edible figures of Kirsty & Garath and their little baby and dog! It was the biggest cake we had ever seen! Kirsty & Garath's guests continued to be treated to goodies at the sweet table with cute personalised bags with the Bride & Groom's names on to put the sweets in.
Before we disappeared off to leave everyone to continue the party we got some great shots of the first dance and everyone enjoying the live band. It was a great day and we were so pleased to be just a small part of it. Lots of luck and best wishes for the future to Kirsty & Garath.
All the best
