Becky & Ben - St Bartholomew's Church, Maresfield & Barnsgate Manor Vineyards, Herons Ghyll

August 6, 2016

We enjoyed an amazing day with Becky & Ben on a gloriously hot early August Saturday this year. Becky & Ben tied the knot at St Bartholomew's in Maresfield which is such a pretty church and then went on to celebrate at Barnsgate Manor Vineyards near by in Herons Ghyll.

I started the day meeting Becky for bridal preparation shots at her home where her Mum and Bridesmaids were getting ready to. We got some great shots of the 'goings on' during the morning of preparation and then I hot footed it to the church to get shots of Becky turning up.

Sam was already at the church meeting the Groom where she got some photos of Ben and his Groomsmen all looking brilliant in their navy suits and ivory ties with beautiful rose button holes and matching footwear (of course!).

The Bride herself looking A-Mazing in a lace strapless gown with a tie up back and beautiful train. Her Bridesmaids wore a lovely shade of pistachio and the Flower Girls wore ivory. The bouquets were a mix of pink, ivory and green roses hand tied with string.

The ceremony was really lovey with a very friendly Vicar leading the proceedings and a few laughs mixed in. Soon Becky & Ben walked back up the aisle happily the new Mr & Mrs to lots of confetti throwing outside the church and a few family group shots. They were then whisked away in their vintage convertible to Barnsgate where they were welcomed with two chilled glasses of bubbly and all their guests.

After they had time to mingle for a bit we quietly took them away to get some private shots in the vineyard and out on the hill top with amazing views. We then finished off a few more family shots and were soon into sitting for dinner and the speeches. Becky & Ben decorated their wedding breakfast space with lots of scented candles, loads more beautiful flowers in jars and on decorative logs and crisp ivory table cloths and napkins. The room looked amazing and also had a heavily stocked sweet table (always a winner!) and unique ideas for guest messages. One of the nicest accessories I have seen for a while at a wedding was the beautiful hand made seating plan made out of refurbished wood panels and vintage photo frames reflecting the colours of the day.

The speeches were great, lots of laughs and revelations! Later Becky & Ben moved downstairs with their guests to dance the night away in the basement at Barnsgate and enjoyed BBQ food outside. It was a great day and we were really pleased to be a part of it.

I wish Becky & Ben all the very best for the future and thank them for being such a wonderful couple to work with.

Jason
